Diplomatico rums originate from Venezuela. They are produced within Destileras Unidas S.A founded in Barquisimeto, in the north-east of the country, in 1959. DUSA has several stills which allow it to distill rums with different aromatic profiles, and to produce limited editions. This distillery, run by Jos Rafael Ballesteros Melndez, is establishing itself as the most important rum producer in Venezuela. Diplomatico is one of the most famous names in the rum world. A true reference in the four corners of the planet, it has built its reputation thanks to Reserva Exclusiva rum, its best-seller.
