Terroir of great complexity, Charmes-Chambertin is one of the most famous Grands Crus. Indeed, it gives an excellent wine for its rich, supple and velvety structure. This Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2012 from Louis Latour has a lovely deep garnet color, as well as a nose with pleasant notes of blackcurrant, liquorice and cocoa. On the palate, it is greedy, powerful with woody aromas and a good persistence on the finish. This Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2012 must be kept a few years before it gives all its potential and its refinement.
