The Ruby Port is a delicious, young and powerful port produced from a blend of the 5 best grape varieties of the Douro. In the vineyards of the Douro, 40 varieties can be found in the different classified vineyards.The port has a deep ruby red color, the aroma offers primary fruit from the grapes and in the taste you can taste raisins, black forest fruits and a hint of dried fruit. An elegant, lobular port with powerful fruit flavors and nuances of licorice, cocoa and vanilla. A wonderful long finale completes the enjoyment of this port.
The Tawny port is made from grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesca and Tinta Barroca. The port has a fading red color due to the 3-year aging in chestnut barrels and is therefore also called tawny.
