Established in 1851, Mission Estate is NZ's oldest winery. The fruit for this Reserve Barrique fermented Chardonnay is hand
picked from low yielding vines well over 20
years old. Gentle pressing then straight to expensive French Barrels for fermentation with a portion of indigenous yeasts, 6 months lees
aging further enhances the complexity. No malolactic fermentation enables extra freshness and fruit generosity to this already powerfully flavoured wine.
