Vino Santi is a wine with an explosive character and a full, complex palate. It is a blend of Toscano, Malvasia and Combana grapes, which gives it its acidic notes in the first, sweetness in the second and delicacy in the last.As the exact origin of the wine is not well known, several legends have been built around its creation. The most famous of them tells that in 1348, a monk distributed a mass wine to his fellow monks and that it cured the sick who drank it. It was believed to be a miraculous wine with divine powers. Since then, this wine, until then called "pretto", became "santo".
