This wine is made from all 13 authorized grape varieties from Beaucastel's single plot in northern Chateauneuf
- Pape. It has an unusually high percentage of old vine Mourvedre which gives power and structure to the wine.

This wine is vibrant ruby in colour with aromas of blackberry plum and raspberry alongside hints of dark chocolate. On the palate it has a lively acidity with delicate notes of ripe red fruit liquorice and pepper. Well
- structured soft tannins support this rich wine through to a smooth lingering finish.
