- old history of the Frescobaldi family and spontaneously bring to mind noble events of the medieval era. The various estates that bear the Frescobaldi name represent the diversity of the different Tuscan territories, reflected in the numerous creations that, for 700 years now, have been carried out in the winemaking and more general agricultural fields. The same diversity that can be found in the arts of the Renaissance, a period during which exchanges and relationships were maintained with prominent figures such as Donatello, Michelozzo Michelozzi and Filippo Brunelleschi.
- The Heritage Set "Laudemio and Nipozzano" pays homage to a family that built the history of Tuscany and Italy, also uniting the two peculiar crops of Mediterranean civilization: the olive tree and the vine. "Laudemio", or the term that in medieval times indicated the part of the harvest destined for the owner of the land, derives from the Latin "laude": it represents the excellence of the extra virgin olive oil that is made with the fruit harvested in the 300 hectares of olive groves owned by the family, extending on the slopes between the 200 to 500 meters above sea level. The olives are harvested before they are fully ripe, to preserve their brilliant emerald color and aromatic freshness, and are processed after just a few hours in their own mill. The symbol of the Etruscan athlete refers to the Tuscan cultural heritage and healthy eating, an essential element of a healthy lifestyle. “Nipozzano” represents the family's most famous and historic property: a castle with an adjoining vineyard immersed in the Chianti Rufina area, where the Sangiovese grapes and the classic supporting characters for the creation of this Reserve come from.
