This vine, originally from the Bordeaux region, arrived in the New World during the 19th century and immediately settled in very well, especially in the Mendoza area. - The Malbec of Terrazas de Los Andes was born in a splendid estate located in a very suitable area, which rises towards the first reliefs of the Andes mountain range. The altitude and the extreme climate have proved perfect for quality viticulture, which today represents one of the excellences of the ™Argentina. The grapes come from different plots cultivated at an altitude of about 1000 meters in the areas of Luj¡n de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. The poor, very draining soils and the hot and dry climate, with strong temperature variations between the day and night temperatures create an ideal habitat for Malbec, which expresses itself at high quality levels, slowly ripening grapes with particularly intense aromas.
