- The Grappa di Barbera Monriondo€ by Marolo is a deep distillate, in which the spicy and fruity aromas tell of a subtle, but at the same time full and tasty Grappa. Credit goes to the Marolo distillery, which has always been an example of innovation, tenacity and great intuition. Just like in this case, where the Grappa is left to rest in woods that contained red wine, thus acquiring a characteristic amber color, iridescent towards red. A territorial and identity label, which celebrates the myth of Marolo.
- “Monriondo” is a Grappa di Barbera that Marolo produces starting obviously from the pomace of the famous Piedmontese vine, coming from the DOC area of Barbera d’Alba. Great attention is paid to the origin of the raw material, selected with care and obsession. The distillation process uses stills that operate with the discontinuous bain
- marie method. Once the Grappa is obtained, at the end of the manufacturing process, it is transferred to second passage barriques that previously contained red wine, where it remains to refine until the distillery team deems it ready to be bottled and released on the market.
- "Monriondo" Grappa di Barbera by Marolo reveals itself to the eye with a light amber color, characterized by some slight reflections that tend more towards red. The range of notes that surrounds the nose moves on a concentrated and dry texture, from which mainly fruity hints emerge. Full
