- Nebbiolo by Giovanni Rosso is a wine that expresses the most authentic and sincere face of the great Piedmontese grape variety. Thanks to a delicate vinification and a short refinement in wood, the Nebbiolo retains all its elegant varietal notes, bringing its floral and delicately fruity character to the fore. A red of great charm, born in the Serralunga d'Alba area, one of the most suitable in the wonderful Langhe territory.
- The red Nebbiolo from the Serralunga d'Alba winery is the product of a great terroir. The estate extends over a total area of about 10 hectares, divided into many parcels, which include prestigious crus: Ceretta, Serra, Vigna Rionda, Broglio. Meriame, Sorano, Costa Bella, Liriano Damiano, La Valle del Mondo. The vineyards intended for the production of Nebbiolo are located in the Roddino and Serralunga d'Alba area and are planted with the Guyot system. The harvest usually takes place around mid
- October and the grapes are fermented, using only indigenous yeasts, in cement tanks with maceration on the skins lasting about two weeks. It rests for several months in large oak barrels before bottling and being put on the market.
- Giovanni Rosso Nebbiolo is a wine with a great gastronomic vocation, extremely versatile in its pairings at the table. Thanks to its delicate fragrance and good persistence, it is perfect to taste with the tasty first courses of traditional Piedmontese cuisine. It has a ruby red color with light garnet reflections. On the nose it opens with floral notes of violet, aromas of small berries, cherry, with light toasted and spicy notes. On the palate it is of medium structure, with a subtle tannic texture, still crunchy fruit and a lively fresh finish.
