- The Yuu Baal group is a completely Mexican company and represents a social enterprise that aims to safeguard and raise awareness of the customs of the native Mezcal producers of Oaxaca, the state that overlooks the southwest coast of Mexico and which displays the most exquisitely traditional character on a cultural and gastronomic level. The producers who come together in the company come from the towns of San Juan del Rio, San Luis del Rio, Tlacolula, Miahuatlan, and the capital Oaxaca: they are all dedicated to caring for the land, aware that the quality of the blue agave plants depends solely on an uncontaminated natural environment. The complete cycle of planting, cutting and harvesting, and finally transformation is carried out by hand and with the utmost dedication. The name of the group, after all, means very simply Earth and Fire, the two natural elements from which these totally artisanal Mezcals come to life.
- The "Mezcal Experience" aims to represent the gateway to the exotic and unknown reality of the agave distillate: through this selection of 5 different labels it is possible to travel to an extreme land and a world of traditions and surprising aromas. “Joven Wild Espadin” is refined and well
- defined, the prince of typical Mezcal production, with powerful hints of smoke, notes of dried papaya, orange and pollen. “Tepeztate” comes from one of the most interesting agaves that grow in Oaxaca and that needs 25 to 35 years to reach the right maturity, also growing only on extremely steep slopes. “Tobala” is one of the most sought
- after agaves for the production of Mezcal: an extremely structured and complex taste, with distinctive earthy and smoky wood tones. “Madrecuixe” comes from a wild species of agave that grows in limited quantities and gives some of the most unique distillates in the world: it expresses an uncommon minerality. Reposado€ finally tells the true and genuine Mexico, aging six months in American oak barrels before being bottled.
