- Trento Spumante Jeroboam Brut is a fresh and elegant Blanc de Blancs, which well represents the style of the Balter winery. The Trentino sparkling wine tradition has ancient origins, which Balter interprets while remaining faithful to family tradition. The estate is located near Rovereto and extends over 10 hectares, cultivated at around 350 metres above sea level, perfectly exposed to the south. In these favorable soil and climate conditions, fresh and sunny, Chardonnay has found excellent conditions to express itself with great finesse and give high quality sparkling bases.
- Jeroboam Brut Balter comes from Chardonnay vines grown partly with Trentino pergola and partly with Guyot. Thanks to the mild climate and the notable temperature variations, the grapes ripen slowly and arrive at the time of the harvest with rich and intense fruit. The harvest is slightly early and after the soft pressing, the must ferments partly in steel and partly in small oak barrels. After a maturation of 8 months, the cuvée is created and the subsequent period of refinement on the yeasts is approximately 36 months. A period that gives the Chardonnay the right degree of evolution towards mature and aromatically expressive notes.
- Trento Spumante Brut Balter is a very pleasant Metodo Classico Jeroboam, ideal to drink as an aperitif or to pair with appetizers or delicate fish dishes. To the eye it presents a bright straw yellow with golden reflections. The perlage is fine and of beautiful persistence. The bouquet opens with floral scents, citrus notes, aromas of white fruit, with nuances of bread crust and dried fruit. The sip is refined and creamy, with a beautiful balance between ripe fruit and intense freshness, savoury and mineral. A celebratory format for a great sparkling wine!
