- The Franciacorta Brut Edition Contadi Castaldi is a box of two bottles that brings with it the lively and fragrant character of the sparkling wines from the Lombard reality Contadi Castaldi. Founded in 1987 by the Moretti family, already owners of the famous sparkling wine house Bellavista, the Contadi Castaldi estate has over 170 hectares of vineyards dedicated to the production of fine Franciacorta. In the Middle Ages, the term Contadi referred to the counties of Franciacorta, renowned for the quality of their agricultural production, while the Castaldi were the lords of these counties, who were entrusted with the management of the lands.
- The Contadi Castaldi Franciacorta Brut Edition package contains two bottles of Franciacorta Brut Edition by Contadi Castaldi, a label that stands out for its balance, smoothness and enjoyableness. The production of this sparkling wine begins with the cultivation of Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco grapes, which respectively represent 80%, 10% and 10% of the final blend. The bunches are first soft pressed, followed by cold static decantation of the must. The subsequent alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature thanks to the inoculation of selected yeasts and is followed by the partial completion of malolactic fermentation. The base wine matures in a mix of steel and oak barrels for 7 months, at the end of which the second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method, associated with 20
