PETITE ARVINE 'NUANCES' OTTIN 2021 DESCRIPTION
- The “Nuances” Petite Arvine is a wine from the Aosta Valley that comes from a late harvest. It is therefore a bottle with a full
- bodied profile, where aromas and sensations on the palate abound in a whirlwind of notes and flavors that is always well
- ordered, never confusing or chaotic. Credit goes to the Ottin winery, a young production company located in the Porossan Neyves hamlet, in the province of Aosta, which in just over 10 years has managed to create a quality range, in which each label has its own precise personality. This is also the case with this “Nuances”, a compact, intense and elegant white wine that has incredible gastronomic versatility.
- The “Nuances” Petite Arvine is made from grapes of the same name, originally from Switzerland and imported into the Aosta Valley in the middle of the last century. It is a semi
- aromatic vine with delayed ripening, which the Ottin winery harvests at the beginning of October, when the bunches are already affected by noble rot or “botrytis cinerea”. The must ferments in stainless steel containers, and then ages for 12 months in 500
- litre tonneaux. At the end of this period the wine is ready to be bottled and marketed.
- Petite Arvine "Nuances" presents itself in the glass with a straw yellow color, intense and crystalline to the eye. The aromatic profile on the nose is original, which tells a story of notes made of exotic fruit, spices, smoky hints and light buttery touches, which feed a certain pleasantness on the finish. On the palate it is medium
- bodied, enveloping on the palate, with a savory and refreshing sip, of excellent harmony. A typically Aosta Valley expression that shows the Alpine and refreshing side of this characteristic variety.
