NIZZA RISERVA 'LA COURT' MICHELE CHIARLO 2020 DESCRIPTION_x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ The Barbera d'Asti Superiore Nizza La Court€ wine takes its name from the cru of origin, a truly unique stage for the potential of the Barbera grape variety. Here, in fact, this grape manages to take on particular characteristics, which combine structure, longevity and elegance, giving rise to a dance of aromas and flavors that shocks from the first moments. A red with which Michele Chiarlo continues his line of excellence, made of labels that, within each territory, tell only the best of it._x000D_ _x000D_ Barbera d'Asti Superiore Nizza "La Court" is born from the use of one of the most present vines within the Piedmontese wine-growing terroir, Barbera. The vines of this variety are cultivated by Michele Chiarlo's team within one of the most important crus of the entire Monferrato, La Court, characterized by a soil composed of clayey and calcareous marl, in which sand and silt abound. Here the winery cultivates 3 hectares of vineyards, located at an altitude of 240 meters above sea level and exposed to the south and south-west. The carefully selected grapes ferment for 12 days in oak vats, and then mature, both in barriques and large barrels, for a year._x000D_ _x000D_ “La Court” is a Barbera d’Asti Superiore Nizza that, in the glass, presents itself with a typical ruby red color, crossed by more purple flashes in the rim. The nose is dominated by notes of small ripe red fruit, from which deeper sensations emerge that recall spices and wood. In the mouth it is broad, soft, with a structured and round body, almost tactile; the sip is characterized by a pleasant fresh vein, which makes the drink smooth. One of the most representative labels made by the Michele Chiarlo winery, which, harvest after harvest, always confirms itself at excellent quality levels._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ Colour_x000D_ _x000D_ Red ruby with purple tints_x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ Scent_x000D_ _x000D_ Intense and complex notes of cherry, red berries, chocolate, underbrush and coffee_x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ Taste_x000D_ _x000D_ Smooth, full-bodied, rich and intense with adorable freshness
