- Brunello di Montalcino Altesino represents a harmonious and velvety expression of the denomination, capable of presenting itself complex and pleasant already a few years after the harvest. The Altesino estate is located in the town of the same name in the northern part of the Montalcino district, characterized by high altitudes and soils rich in clay and limestone. For the production of the "classic" Brunello, the winery creates a blend of grapes from the six plots of land owned in the areas of Altesino, Macina, Cerbaia, Montosoli, Pianezzine and Velona, the latter two located on the southern side of the area.
- Altesino's Brunello di Montalcino is a pure Sangiovese Grosso from vines located in different sub
- zones, with an altitude between 180 and 300 meters above sea level and a variable presence of clay, sand and marl. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with over 15 days of maceration on the skins and complete malolactic fermentation. Once the fermentation process is complete, the mass is transferred to large Allier and Slavonian oak barrels for at least 24 months of aging, followed by a minimum of 4 months of refinement in the bottle before being finally released onto the market.

The nose is structured on complex aromas of red fruits, violets, undergrowth, medicinal herbs, tobacco, leather and chocolate. Evocative mineral hints frame it.
