Schiopetto's Rivarossa 2015 is a red wine with Bordeaux
- style of Friulian origin. It is characterized by a bright ruby red garment and a variegated and inviting aromatic bouquet: notes of cherries and small berries are combined with aromas of tobacco, black pepper and licorice root. The taste is velvety thanks to soft, ripe tannins and a spicy finish.

- Schiopetto's "Rivarossa" is a classic Bordeaux blend in Friulian land produced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It is a historic wine of the winery, which highlights the high level of quality that the vines of French origin can reach in the Colli Orientali region and the peculiarities of an extraordinary terroir, among the most suitable in absolute terms for viticulture. An intense, rich and complex red that perfectly combines the varietal characteristics with the typical mineral notes of the Friulian "ponca".
- The "Rivarossa" wine is born in the Cru Oleis of the Mario Schiopetto estate. It is a 8
- hectare plot located in the splendid hilly area of the Colli Orientali, dedicated above all to the cultivation of red grapes. The calcareous
- clayey soils have proven to be perfect for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which can also count on a sunny climate , fresh and always ventilated. The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of September. Fermentations take place separately in wooden vats at a temperature of 25 °C and with a maceration on the skins lasting 10
- 15 days. The wines then mature for 14 months in 225
- litre barriques and 500
- litre tonneaux of French oak, before the final assembly. The wine completes its refinement with 12 months in the bottle.

On the palate it has a good structure, with a dense, evolved and elegant tannic texture.
