- The Malbec 'Catena' is the symbolic label of the Catena Zapata winery, the one that best summarizes his history and tradition of the terroir. The wine is produced with the red grape Malbec, originally from the Bordeaux area, which has found a second homeland in Argentina. The particular climatic conditions and the suitable soils allow the creation of a rich and fruity, fresh and elegant wine. A very well
- calibrated use of wood allows the varietal notes of the vine to be left in the foreground and the tannins to be smoothed out, so as to make the sip softer and more persuasive, without however presenting excessive woody notes.
