  • The Aglianico Jungano€ from the Campania winery San Salvatore is a fresh, young and fragrant version of this noble red grape variety from our south, capable of producing wines of extraordinary elegance and complexity. In the Cilento area, Aglianico has found the soil and climate to express itself at excellent quality levels, which underline its great winemaking potential. The delicate vinification and only partial refinement in wood give a harmonious and soft red, capable however of maintaining a pleasant youthful verve, which is expressed with an intense, fragrant fruit and a sip characterized by a beautiful expressive tension.
  • "Jungano" is a pure Aglianco that is born in an uncontaminated territory of rare beauty. The San Salvatore winery is located a stone's throw from the Temples of Paestum, in the area of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park. Within a large estate with olive groves, woods, orchards and arable land, there are about twenty hectares of vineyards, cultivated with the most important native Campanian vines, in particular: Aglianico, Fiano and Greco. The mild Mediterranean climate, always ventilated thanks to the presence of sea breezes and particularly suitable soils, have proven to be very suitable for growing vines.   • The San Salvatore "Jungano" wine is the fruit of a selection of grapes vinified in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with the classic maceration on the skins. The wine ages for 12 months partly in barrique, partly in tonneau and partly in steel, to then be assembled shortly before bottling. Its color is dark ruby red, with aromas that recall blackberry, cherry, dark berry fruits, aromatic herbs, soft spices and delicate balsamic hints. On the palate it is medium
