- Primitivo di Manduria Magnum Lirica€ is a red wine from Puglia produced with the most typical grape variety of the area. The refinement in large barrels is the right compromise to be able to savor the fruity face and rich in primary aromas, enriched and made more mature and complex by a short passage in wood, which already gives pleasant evolutionary notes.
- The red "Lirica" reveals the most classic character and typical of the Primitivo of the Cantina dei Produttori di Manduria. A reality of over 400 members, which manages 900 hectares of vineyards, of which over half are cultivated with Primitivo. The age of the vines is 20
- 50 years and the most widespread training system in the older vineyards is the traditional bush vine, while in the younger plants the espalier is often used. The average density per hectare varies between 4000 and 5000 vines, with a yield of less than 90 quintals per hectare. The presence of so many plots allows us to choose the best grapes every year and always produce quality wines. The name of the vine comes from its early ripening, which requires the harvest already at the end of August. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature and the wine matures for 9 months in large barrels before being bottled.
- The Primitivo di Manduria "Lirica" Magnum wine from the Cantina dei Produci di Manduria is a wine with a typically Mediterranean profile, a great red from the south, soft and enveloping, with very ripe and expressive fruit. The color is intense ruby red with some garnet nuances. The bouquet expresses aromas of ripe plum, cherry, small dark berries, hints of undergrowth and Mediterranean scrub, spicy and toasted notes, slightly bois. On the palate it is warm and intense, with rich and dense fruit, notes of chocolate, carob, an already evolved tannic texture, a soft and spicy finish.
