- The Spumante Metodo Classico Nature Arcano 180 Lune€ by Nicola Gatta is the spearhead of the production of the giant from Gussago, a classic method aged 15 years on the lees, with a disconcerting depth. It is well known that Nicola Gatta is one of the best producers of Franciacorta, and by extension of classic methods in Italy, but this wine is truly unique. Very long aging on the lees, to seal a work done with care and respect for the vineyard and the territory, which are not treated with chemical substances of any kind, but are instead enhanced following the precepts of biodynamics. The varieties grown are obviously those dedicated to the production of the classic method in Franciacorta, namely Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which thanks to Nicola's sensitivity reach unthinkable heights of complexity, both in purity and in blends. In a word, unmissable.
- The Nature Arcano 180 Lune€ is a Classic Method obtained from an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, coming from vineyards located between Gussago and Cellatica. In the vineyard, as already mentioned, no pesticides, herbicides or any chemical substances are used, using only copper, sulphur and biodynamic preparations. In the cellar, the spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the base wines and refermentation in the bottle according to the Classic Method with aging for 15 years on the lees.
- The Nature Arcano 180 Lune€ Classic Method Spumante presents itself in the glass with a golden colour and fine and persistent bubbles. Kaleidoscopic nose and frankly unclassifiable for the variety of references and suggestions, ranging from custard to citrus, from zabaglione to dried fruit and much more. The sip is broad, relaxed and creamy, endowed with a persuasive maturity but at the same time with strength and saline extension. Impressive.
