It is no coincidence that this bottle is made with grapes from the youngest vineyards of the estate, worked with the aim of offering an expression of easier reading and immediate enjoyment. The 'Les Plantes' is part of the 'Les Parcelles' trilogy, launched with the 2019 harvest and composed of labels made with grapes from individual plots specially selected to show the nuances of the territory cultivated by Durfort
- Vivens.
- Ch¢teau Durfort
- Vivens Margaux 'Les Plantes' is produced from an important base of Cabernet Sauvignon, the main grape variety of the Margaux area, combined with smaller percentages of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The vines, grown following the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, both certified, rest on soils characterized by a high presence of gravel and sand. Following the harvest, the bunches are immediately transferred to the cellar for red vinification and the subsequent aging of 16 months between terracotta amphorae and oak barrels that precedes the final bottling.
