- ALTA LANGA PAS DOSˆ CONTRATTO 2020 DESCRIPTION
- The Alta Langa Pas Dos Contratto is the bubble that you immediately fall in love with, of great finesse and elegance, it strikes for its profoundly feminine character. A tribute to the first Italian vintage sparkling wine of 1919, this Classic Method is produced with 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. It should be emphasized that this wine, in addition to having obtained excellent scores from the most important food and wine guides in the country, has a price that correlates to the quality and invites the purchase of this Piedmontese sparkling wine.
- The Contratto Pas Dos Alta Langa has its vineyards located at an altitude of about 650 meters that sink their roots into soils composed of rock, sand and marine deposits. Once the harvest has been carried out, the work moves inside the cellar where the fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the second fermentation takes place inside the bottles, as per the tradition of the Alta Langa Metodo Classico. The production process ends with refinement on the lees for 36 months.
- The Pas Dos Alta Langa by Contratto presents itself in the glass with a straw yellow discharge composed of a fine bubble and enviable persistence. The frankness of the grapefruit and the roundness of the dried fruit are the prominent elements of the olfactory picture of this Alta Langa sparkling wine. Bread crust and pastry complete the bouquet typical of the production methodology described above. Brought to the palate, one is overwhelmed by the majestic cohesion between freshness and softness that make the sip delicate but with a decisive structure.
