- The Brut Magnum Franciacorta by Contadi Castaldi is a vibrant expression of the union between Chardonnay and one of the most suitable Italian territories for the production of Italian sparkling wines. Smoothness and drinkability are the key words to identify the production style adopted, without however sacrificing complexity and longevity. The more than century
- old origins of the winemaking history of the place are reflected in the choice of the name of the winery, in fact the word "contadi" refers to the counties of Franciacorta, while "Castaldi" refers to the owners of the latter. Although the birth of the winery, founded in Adro in 1991, is much more recent, the name of the Moretti family is one of those that has made the history of Franciacorta, being the founder of one of the most famous Italian wineries in the world, namely Bellavista.
- The Brut of Contadi Castaldi comes from a blend consisting mostly of Chardonnay, with small amounts of Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, while the refinement is partly used in steel containers and partly in barriques. The sparkling wine then ages on the lees for 20
- 26 months, and it is precisely this last stage that enriches the wine, giving it depth and thickness.
