This is a very accessible Pessac-Leognan, with delicious plum and blueberry notes. It comes from Chateau Ferran, which is named after 17th Bordeaux lawyer, Robert de Ferran and the estate was once in the hands of the famous philosopher and artist, Montesquieu. It has been owned by the same family since 1880 and today, the estate is run by the fifth generation, Philippe and Ghislaine Lacoste.
