This robust red from New Zealand winemaker Matt Thompson is made by the 'Ripasso' method. The wine is refermented on the skins of Amarone grapes, giving more body and depth. Ita's a big and bold red with lots of sweet, dark fruit, clever use of oak and Amaronea's trademark tang. Perfect with Italian cheeses and risottos.
