Alta Mora is a family run Sicilian winery. It has been a lifelong dream for the Cusumano brothers to build a winery among the fertile, black, volcanic soils of Mt. Etna. The vineyards are planted at high altitude, up to 1,200m along the slopes of the active volcano. Sharing many similarities with a Nebbiolo or Pinot Noir, this 100% Nerello Mascalese has wonderfully concentrated cherry fruit along with some herby notes, soft smooth tannins and vibrant acidity.
