Château Gazin Rocquencourt located in Pessac-Leognan was founded in the 15th century, making it one of the oldest estates in the commune. Owned by the Bonnie family of Chateau Malartic-Lagraviere, the sustainably farmed Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vineyards are composed of deep gravel over limestone which yields fine red wines that combine elegance, complexity, and balance. Château Gazin Rocquencourt 2015 is fruit forward with notes of blackcurrant, chocolate, smoke and spice. The palate is plush and rich with silky tannins and a fresh lingering finish.
