For the 125th anniversary of the Pascual Toso vineyard the local winemaker Felipe Stahlschmidt created a wine in which each bunch and each grape were carefully selected. The result is a drink that fully reflects the magic of the Las Barrancas terroir - hot days and brisk nights clear water flowing from the snowy Andean peaks ideal for growing vines loamy silty and sandy soils. The wine itself is 60% Malbec and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in French oak barrels - complex well-balanced full of plums almost jam and raspberries perfect for red meat lamb pasta or mature cheese.
