Reserve de la Comtesse is the second wine of Chateau Pichon
- Lalande and is produced in the Pauillac region using a blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon 34% Merlot 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.

Beautiful deep garnet colour. The nose reveals notes of kirsh blackcurrant and redcurrant with spicy notes (tea pepper cloves chocolate). The palate is very elegant and fresh with silky tannins and pretty fruit. Beautiful spicy finish.

Serve with roast rack of lamb capon cooked with champagne sauce or with game meatssuch as venison wild pig pheasant or hare.
