A wine with great ageing potential.
Ch¢teau Montus is distinguished by its unique terroir. Located in the South-West of France, this estate benefits from a steep slope with large pebbles on fine clay from the Pyrenees. This wine has been recognized by a dozen critics since the 1980s, and since then the "Ptrus du Sud-Ouest" has continued to make a name for itself and its Tannat grape variety.Grape varieties: Tannat, Cabernet-Sauvignon. Vines 30 years old. Very low yields of 5 to 6 bunches per vine.
