Three Rows is a stylistic counterpoint to the Clearview Reserve Chardonnay. The aim is to showcase power & intensity with minerality, length & focus. Barrel fermented and aged on lees for 10 months giving clean stone, struck match and flint like characters with a grapefruit finish from the natural acidity synonymous with the Te Awanga vineyards. Te Awanga is near the ocean with all of its cooling influences, resulting in pure fruited, and fresh wines, as is clearly evident in this Three Rows Chardonnay 2020.
