This wine is a blend of wines from the valley floor of the Domaine de l'Hortus, between the cliffs of the Hortus and the north face of the Pic Saint Loup. They share with the great wines of the estate the same high standards of vine cultivation and winemaking as the Orliac family.The plots of land are located at the bottom of the valley, with less marked exposure than those on the slopes of the estate, so the grapes ripen later. In addition, the cold air accumulations at the bottom of the valley, particularly during the spring mornings, delay the vegetative cycle of the vine, and thus bring a better acidity to the grape berries, without harming their phenolic maturity, which will offer you all the fullness of the flavours of the multiple grape varieties which harmonise in a complex but balanced blend, all in softness but with a lot of volume!
