The round, powerful bouquet blossoms into a full-bodied mid palate with a fine expression of dark fruit.
The vineyards of Ch¢teau La Commanderie essentially consist of two plots, one adjoining Ch¢teau Montrose, the other located on a gravely slope opposite the famous Ch¢teau Lafite-Rothschild.Since 1956, the estate has been in the hands of the Meffre family, which also owns other vineyards in Pauillac and Saint Julien.
