Jo Landron is at the head of an organically grown estate, located in Loire-Atlantique near Nantes and spread over two sites, the Domaine de la Louveterie and the Ch¢teau de la Carizire. With his moustache greased with Melon de Bourgogne, a regional grape variety that is particularly close to his heart, Jo Landron enjoys a very good reputation among Muscadet producers for the quality and consistency of his wines.Amphibolite is the flagship wine of Domaine La Louveterie and is made from 100% Melon de Bourgogne. The vines are planted on amphibolite soil, hence the name of the cuve. Amphibolites are metamorphic rocks from the bottom of ancient oceans, green rocks in degradation which give the melon de bourgogne grape variety a soft minerality.
