- The Single Malt Whiskey "Skye" is produced by the famous and ancient Talisker distillery, the only one present on the Isle of Skye, which is located not far away from the Highland coast of north
- west Scotland. The Talisker distillery is based in Carbost, a small village located almost at the end of the narrow and deep Loch Harport fjord, on the western coast of the island. It is here that this whisky with a strong personality is born, which expresses in a unique way decided the most typical characteristics of the production area. A Single Malt with a very characteristic profile, which immediately brings to the fore the most typical notes of Skye Island, with peaty hints, iodine and salty sensations. - Talisker Skye€ is produced with a single quality of malt and with water coming from underground springs on the Isle of Skye. The distillation process takes place with a double series of stills. A special trick that allows the vapors of the first distillation to be reused for the second. The refinement of the distillate takes place in partially toasted American oak barrels, which give the typical spicy and woody notes, which will then be found in the bouquet of the Whisky .
