Honeyed sweetness and fruity notes for an absolutely extraordinary wine!
Hungary is full of priceless treasures. Among them, an exceptional wine famous in the whole world, the Tokaj (an "i" is added to the name to specify that it comes from the Tokaj region). This wine comes from the vineyard of Tokaj, in the north east of Hungary. It benefits from a lot of sunshine due to its location, facing south, south-east and south-west of the hills that host the vineyards. Aged in oak barrels for 24 months, Tokaj is then left to rest for 12 months before bottling.This wine, made from the unique Tokaji Aszu vinification, contains the equivalent of 5 puttonyos of Aszu grapes, or about 140 grams of residual sugar per liter, with an incomparable acidity.
