The Barrels Encourage The Development Of The Subtle Character Of The Aberlour, While The Sherry Oak Barrels Give The Distillate A Deep Gold Color With A Touch Of Ruby Red, As Well As A Perfectly Balanced, Rich, Fruity, Spicy Taste. On The Nose It Is Very Gentle With Fruity Notes, Rounded Off With The Scent Of Red Apples. Lush On The Palate With A Sherry-Like Body, Fruity Aromas And A Sweet Note Of Lots Of Dark Chocolate And Soft Cream Toffee. The Taste Is Perfectly Balanced By Notes Of Cinnamon, Ginger And Spices. The Aftertaste Is Warm, Very Long-Lasting, Sweet And Peppered With Slightly Spicy Accents. Smell Pleasant: Mild, Fruity Like Red Apples.
