The Griesfled is a 100% Lagrein comede from the Griesfeld vineyard in Egna located at an altitude of 300 m. The maturation and fermentation in the tank lasts 14 days, with continuous immersion of the must with the skins for the best extraction. The wine is then aged for 15 months in small oak barrels. This Tenuta Pfitscher GRIESFELD Lagrein Riserva Adige DOC has a strong purple-red color with notes of violets in the nose. The taste is rich in fine tannins and harmonious in the mouth, with a full body and a velvety finish. The Lagrein derives its character and noble spicy notes mainly from its aging in small oak barrels. All wine critics give this wine (as with all Pfitscher wines) this 90++ scores.
