This Chardonnay from Angelo Gaja comes from the vineyards of Piedmont, which were planted in 1984. The name is made up of two elements Bass, meaning the lower part of the vineyards and Ross is the name of one of Angelo's daughters, called Rosanna. The vineyards are located in the Barolo area, near Serralunga. After the manual harvest of the grapes, the first fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, then the further maturation takes place in oak barriques. The wine is ready to drink now, but can continue to mature in the cellars for another 10 years.
