Description
- Verdicchio is hard to say but is certainly one of the more regal white grape varieties of Italy, famous in the Marche region, near the Adriatic Coast, Central Italy. Verdicchio can thank its revival to its excellent structure, good acidity, and firm finish. Its taste has an aromatic profile that is extremely complex, vegetable, and floral. The “amaro†(bitter) characteristic of the Verdicchio grape is unmistakably sapid with an almondy finish, which is pleasantly bitter, likened to a G&T like finish, long and precise. Making for a superb food wine.
