This Cairanne Blanc, from the Gayere Valley, situated just south of the village of Cairanne, where the marbled clay soils give freshness and elegance to its white wines. A blend of Clairette (gives freshness), Roussane (body and structure) and Viognier (perfume and complexity). And what a heavenly combination. Rhone whites can often be a little broad and heavy, but this wine certainly lives up to the vineyard growing reputation, a wine with perfume and structure, yet with elegance and freshness. Perfect drinking now with roasted white meats and creamy seafood. Oh and less than 10,000 bottles produced for worldwide consumption... genuinely a Prestige production.
