Separated from the Atlantic Ocean by a coastal pine forest, the relatively flat region of Bordeaux has a mild maritime climate, marked by cool wet winters and warm summers. Annual weather differences create significant vintage variations, so producers in the area cannot rely too heavily on any single grape variety. For this reason, Bordeaux wines are usually blends. Beware, this 2018 is an accessible jewel with a deep color with ruby tints. The nose is complex with aromas of pure and black fruits and fine toasted notes. A lot of pleasure on the palate with a perfect balance between acidity, alcohol and silky tannins. The length is immense, reflecting a gigantic vintage.

2019 Chateau Saint-Robert
A deep and brilliant garnet color with elegant ruby nuances. The nose is complex, both spicy and floral with aromas of cherry jam and licorice. The palate is well-balanced and persistent with notes of morello cherries and cocoa.

2018 Chateau Clos Saint-Vincent
The technical team at Clos Saint-Vincent makes every effort to respect the terroir and produce the eponymous wine in the purest Bordeaux tradition. Slow maceration enables the preservation of the fruit flavors necessary for the harmony of barrel-aged wines. All of these precautions enhance the controlled balance of the wine, whose elegant palate expresses notes of red and black fruit, with enveloping tannins on the finish. A voluptuous wine at a modest price.
