Taylors 10 Year Old Tawny Port Jeroboam 3 litre

An impressive looking 3 litre bottle of Taylors 10 Year Old Tawny Port. Mellow and elegant combining delicate wood notes with rich aromas of mature fruit. The port is made from a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Cao & Tinta Amarela. Taylor's 10 Year Old Tawny is bottled when ready to drink and will not improve if laid down in bottle. It is an excellent accompaniment to nut based desserts and is ideally served slightly chilled. Best enjoyed up to 4 weeks after opening. Taylor's 10 Year Old Tawny is a superb example of an aged tawny port, made from selected full red ports grown in the best vineyards of the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior. The individual wines are laid down to age in oak casks of about 630 litres capacity for an average of 10 years, during which time they lose their initial dark purple-black colour and take on the delicate 'tawny' hue from which the wine takes its name. The bottle comes presented in a Taylors branded wood box.
