A light and fruity wine from the Loire Valley with notes of violets and red fruits.
The Raffault family's vineyard in Chinon covers 55 hectares. Since 1693, 14 generations have succeeded each other at the head of this Loire Valley estate. The Cabernet Franc is always harvested when it is at its ripest and all the plots are then vinified separately. The cellars in which the wines are matured are dug into the typical stone of the region: the tuffeau.Cabernet Franc is a red grape variety that thrives in the Bordeaux and Loire regions. With a medium colour, it generally develops fine tannins and subtle aromas of red fruits and spices. This grape variety produces wines that can be enjoyed both young and after a long period of ageing.
