East of the village. Mainly on the appellation "Les Blanchesâ€ "Les Grands Champsâ€ and Pluchots.
Winemaker Tasting Notes
Volnay combines breeding with nobility delicacy elegance and feminity. bright ruby light garnet its aromas of violet redcurrant cherry and with age spices and cooked prune. Fresh on the palate warm on the finish one believes to bite into the fruit and breathe its flesh.
Pairs great with roasted or stewed game birds. Couscous or tagine with meat or poultry or both. Cheeses with strong flavours
