- Martinborough Vineyard Te Tera is one of the most popular and cutting
- edge quality 2nd tier Pinots in NZ. Martinborough's vineyard was first planted in 1980 with new plantings occurring in the 1990's. They acquired the award
- winning mature vineyards of Burnt Spur circa 2000. Talented winemaker Paul Mason (joined MV in 2007) has always had lots of mature & genuine old vine fruit at his disposal. These days Te Tera is crafted from 20+ year old vines which hugely advantages the quality and character of a Pinot Noir at an incredibly accessible price point like this... some vineyards would like it as their 1st tier release. It's a step up on most entry level Burgundy I have tasted. Another outstanding Te Tera!
- Smells
- Unwavering aromas of red and black cherry, plum, cedary oak, with gentle notes of dried herbs, oregano and thyme.
