2018 Fattoria le Pupille Saffredi

This is the showpiece of Fattoria Le Pupille called Saffredi. The vineyard for this top wine grows 250 meters above sea level and is very small, 5 hectares. After the manual harvest, the Super Tuscan matures for 18 months in oak barrels, 75% of which are new barrels. This gives it a lot of tannins and structure, what a beast of a wine!
