2020 Domaine Catherine & Claude Marechal Bourgogne Gravel

Catherine and Claude Marechal believe that you don't make a good wine with a chemistry box, but with good grapes and a good terroir. And because nature knows what to do, there is minimal interference in this vineyard and a very keen eye for quality. From vineyards that extend over the Pommard plain. Hand harvested and the wines are aged between 14-18 months in French oak. This Burgundy Cuvee Gravel is very refined in the nose with plum, light wood and somewhat stony undertones. It offers a polished texture and attractive finish. Elected by the CIVB (Committee Interprofessionel de Vins de Bourgogne) as "example Burgundy" to serve on official occasions.
