2019 Bodegas Shaya Habis

Bodegas Shayo was founded by Juan Gil and belongs to the Gil Family Estates . The Shaya Verdejo is a white wine from the DO Rueda made from 100% Verdejo from old vines with very minimal yields, planted in the southeastern part of the province of Segovia - in the south of the Rueda appellation. The poor sandy soils force the roots of the old vines to search for water several meters deep. As a result, the minerality is extra thickened. The wine is made by Australian winemaker Belinda Thomson, of the Crawford River winery.
